At Kaniki's Gift Shop, you

items at Kaniki's are handmade by the Artist, Nichole Franklin.

with Primitive, Country Rustic themes, Folk Art, Triple Scented
Candles, Hand Painted Items, too many to name, and so many Seasonal

Besides running a
brick and mortar shop, located at the front of her home in Norwich,
New York, she also operated her online business, Kaniki's,
which has been going strong
for almost 9 years now. She has thoroughly enjoyed expanding into
the virtual market, meeting people from all over the country, and
knowing that the love that she puts into her products are enjoyed by
the folks who've bought them from New York to California.

which she also owns and runs, so be sure to scour the marketplace

I've just recently started
a blog- and opened a Cafe Press Store where you can soon purchase
a huge array of our designs on quality products, and opened an
Etsy Store.. I'll be filling those stores up soon, so be sure to

My
Name is Niki, I own and run Kaniki's. We are Located just
outside the city of Norwich, New York, on top of the rolling hills, surrounded
by farm and state lands. When you stand on my front porch, you can see for
miles and miles across the countryside. And we are only ten minutes away
from civilization, so getting to our local stores is really
convenient.
I
opened Kaniki's about 10 years ago, with the support of my husband, my daughter,
and our family, who without, I never would have even made it this far.
They've supported me endlessly in their strength, their belief in me and the
business, and have stood by me through the tough times in getting the business
on it's feet. I thank God every day for giving me such a great family.
I
am, I guess, what you would call a Mixed Media Artist. I dabble in many
areas in the arts, including Decorative Painting, Refinishing, Murals, Signs, I
rescue trash and turn into treasures, I do Glass Etching, Painting with Oils and
Acrylics, I do Computer Graphics, Photo Reproductions, Clay Sculpture,
Mixed Media Assemblage, and Collage, and I even study aromatherapy, natural
healing, and I make all of my Candle Products, my Bath & Body Products, and
So Much More. I can't think of too many things that I haven't worked with,
as I enjoy them all so much.
I
take pride in everything I make, and I hope that what you find will put a smile on your face as well. All of my products are
100% handmade by me, and the Bath and Body Products are as Natural as I can make
them. All of my Candles, Bath and Body Products are tested before they
even go to my shelves as I believe that they need to be
100%.
